We are the LitLing student council!
We represent the interests of the students of the Department of Literature, Art and Media Studies and the Department of Linguistics at the University of Konstanz.
What do we do?
We offer students with questions and problems a point of contact.
We communicate with lecturers and the university management.
We provide information about changes in university life.
We organize events for the students of our departments, e.g. first semester events, pub evenings, parties or mulled wine and waffle sales.
We pass on job opportunities or external events from our departments to you.
We meet once a week to discuss news.
Who are we?
Based on the principle of student participation, we are all students from the departments covered by our student council (see Members). We work on a voluntary basis and ensure that the student body is heard by lecturers and the university management. With a diverse mix of students from different subjects, programs and semesters, we are broadly based and have answers to many questions. We are old hands and know how studying and university work!
Who can contact us?
We look after all students who are enrolled on a degree course in literature, art, media studies or linguistics (see Study Programs). We try to implement your concerns as far as possible and support you directly.
