Infrastructure
The Psycholinguistics Lab has an excellent research infrastructure that enables us to conduct research within and outside the lab. We have several desktop and laptops to collect off-line as well as on-line reaction time experiments. A portable Tobii eye-tracker enables us to run visual-world paradigm studies and a portable Eye-link eye-tracker enables us to investigate the eye-movements of participants while reading. In addition to the eye-trackers, we have a portable EEG system that allows us to investigate brain responses to oral or written language in and outside the lab. The portable eye-trackers and EEG system allow us to investigate how children and adults process language inside the lab or in their natural environment. Below is a list of the hardware and software used in our lab:
Hardware:
- Tobii X3-120 eye-tracker
- Eye-link Portable Duo
- LiveAmp 64 EEG system
- A range of desktops and laptops that are being used for off-line and on-line experiments.
Software:
